How to Apply DTF Transfers

What is a DTF transfer?

DTF (Direct-to-Film) is a printing method where your design is printed onto a special film and then heat-pressed onto fabric. It produces vibrant, full-color prints that are durable and feel soft to the touch. Unlike screen printing, there are no setup costs or minimum orders.

What file format should I upload?

PNG with transparent background is ideal. We also accept SVG, AI, PSD, and PDF files. For best quality, upload at least 300 DPI. We do NOT mirror your image — our system handles that automatically.

What's the difference between "By Size" and "Gang Sheet"?

By Size: You upload one design and choose its exact dimensions. Perfect for a single logo or graphic.

Can I use these on dark fabrics?

Yes! DTF transfers include a white under-base layer, so they look great on any color fabric — black, navy, red, white, or anything in between. No need to select a special "dark garment" option.

How long do DTF transfers last?

When applied correctly, our DTF transfers last 50+ washes without cracking, fading, or peeling. For maximum durability, wash inside out with cold water and avoid direct ironing over the print.

Do I need a heat press?

A heat press gives the best results and is strongly recommended. However, you can use a household iron on the highest setting (no steam) with firm pressure for 20–30 seconds. Results may vary with an iron.
