DTF Gang Sheet Calculator – How Many Designs Fit & What It Costs
Enter the size and quantity of each design you want to print. The calculator shows how many fit on each InkDyno gang sheet, which sheet length is cheapest for your order, and your cost per transfer. Sheets are 22 inches wide; leave about a quarter inch between designs so they're easy to cut apart.
Common sizes: adult front 10×10 (two fit side by side; 11" prints fit one per row), youth 8×8, left chest 3.5×3.5, sleeve 3×3, hat 2.5×2.
How many designs fit on each gang sheet?
Counts assume designs placed in a grid with 0.25" spacing, rotated 90° when that fits more. The gang sheet builder lets you nest shapes by hand, so you can often fit a few extra.
Frequently Asked Questions
How wide is a DTF gang sheet?
All InkDyno gang sheets are 22 inches wide. You choose the length, from 24 inches up to 240 inches (20 feet) for standard and glitter DTF, and from 12 to 120 inches for UV DTF stickers.
How many adult shirt designs fit on a 22x24 gang sheet?
Four 10-inch designs side by side in two rows. An 11-inch design only fits one per row on a 22-inch sheet once you leave a cutting gap, so most shops size adult fronts at 10 to 10.5 inches. A 22x60 sheet fits about ten 10-inch adult prints, and a 22x240 sheet fits about 44.
Can I mix different designs and sizes on one sheet?
Yes. That's the point of a gang sheet: mix adult fronts, youth sizes, pocket logos and sleeve prints on the same sheet and pay one price for the sheet.
How much gap should I leave between designs?
0.25 inch is enough to cut cleanly with scissors. Leave 0.5 inch if you want extra room.
Which is cheaper, a gang sheet or transfers by size?
For three or more designs a gang sheet is almost always cheaper per transfer. For a single design in one size, DTF transfers by size can be simpler.
Do I need to mirror my artwork?
No. Upload your artwork as it should look on the shirt; we handle the mirroring.
