Not every shirt needs a custom design. If you run a boutique, sell at markets, print for a church or school, or just want a few shirts for the season, ready-to-press DTF transfers are the fastest way to get a professional print without designing anything. This guide covers what they are, what they cost, how to pick sizes, and how to find the right designs in our catalog of 22,000+ transfers.
What Is a Ready-to-Press DTF Transfer?
It is a finished design, already printed on DTF film with the adhesive applied, cut to size and ready for your heat press. No weeding like vinyl, no layering, no artwork files. You peel it off the backing after pressing and the design stays on the garment. DTF works on cotton, polyester, blends, canvas and fleece, light or dark, so one transfer suits almost any blank.
What's in the Catalog
Our ready-to-press library is organized by category and season so you can shop the way your customers do:
- Faith & Christian: Bible verses, church events, baptism, modern minimalist faith designs
- Funny & Sarcastic: the best sellers at markets and craft fairs
- Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas: seasonal designs that sell every year
- Patriotic, western, sports mom, teacher, nurse, occupation and hobby designs
- Personalizable templates (team name, custom name, varsity letters) that we can edit with your text before printing
Every design page shows the transfer on a shirt mockup and lists the sizes available. Most designs are also sold as a finished graphic t-shirt if you would rather we print the garment too.

How Fast Do They Ship?
Ready-to-press transfers are printed in Richmond, Texas. Orders placed by 10 AM Central on a business day ship the same day; later orders ship the next business day. Delivery is 1–5 days depending on your state, so a Monday order in Texas, Louisiana or Oklahoma is usually pressed by Wednesday.
How to Press Them
- Pre-press the shirt for 3–5 seconds.
- Place the transfer ink-side down, press at 300°F for 10–15 seconds with medium pressure (250–280°F for polyester).
- Let it cool, peel the film slowly at a low angle.
- Cover with parchment and press again 7–10 seconds.
Full settings for heat presses, Cricut EasyPress and home irons: press instructions. No heat press? Order the design as a finished graphic tee instead.
Ready-to-Press vs Custom vs Gang Sheet
- Ready-to-press (this page): you want a design that already exists, one or a few at a time. Fastest and cheapest for small quantities.
- Custom by size: you have your own artwork and want it printed at a specific size.
- Gang sheet builder: you want many designs (ours or yours) on one sheet to get the lowest cost per transfer. Our gang sheet vs single transfer post shows the math.
- Premade gang sheets: a ready-made bundle of 10–16 designs on one sheet around a theme, for shops that want variety without building anything.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I buy just one DTF transfer?
Yes. Every ready-to-press design can be ordered one at a time, from $2.99, with no minimum.
Do the designs come with a license to sell shirts?
Yes. You can press our ready-to-press designs onto garments and sell the finished shirts. You may not resell the transfer files themselves.
Can you change the text on a design?
Many designs are templates (team names, custom names, numbers). Add your text in the order notes or message us on Instagram @inkdynoshop before ordering.
Will the transfer work on polyester or dark shirts?
Yes. DTF prints with a white base, so it works on black and dark garments, and on cotton, polyester and blends.
How many washes does it last?
50+ washes with proper pressing and care: wash inside out, cold, no bleach or fabric softener, tumble dry low.
